Leather Care

Cleaning Leather

In order to clean your leather item, it is suggested that you use a leather cleaning product that will not strip the natural lubricants but rather will protect them. Using a clean dry cloth, or a sponge, be sure to test the cleaner on a small spot of the leather that is not noticeable before continuing to clear the entire product.  Clean product using small circular motions with light coats of the cleaning product. Once first coat is on, wait a few minutes then use a clean dry cloth to pat the excess cleaner away.

Caring for Wet Leather

Always try to keep leather dry, but if leather gets wet, be sure to let the wet leather dry at room temperature. Placing wet leather products near a heater or radiator will allow them to dry too quickly and could remove the natural oils needed to keep it in good condition.

Storing/Removing Wrinkles

It is suggested to hang leather products on a shaped or padded hanger in a cool dry area. Leather products should not be stored with plastic or moth balls. However, wrinkles can be removed if needed.

**Please be very careful while doing this procedure.**

If by some chance the product is wrinkled, wrinkles can be removed by an iron. DO NOT PLACE IRON DIRECTLY ON THE LEATHER… Use a 100% cotton towel to lay on the leather before using a COOL iron for a short period to flatten out wrinkles.
